Sequential vav-prefixed Qal imperfects veyivash {וְיִבַשׁ | wə-yib·bāš} ‘and it will be dried up’ and veyekherav {וְיֶחֱרַב | wə-ye·ḥerāḇ} ‘and it will be destroyed’ apply to the pronominal constructs mekoro {מְקוֹרוֹ | mə·qôrô} and mayeno {מַעְיְנוֹ | maʿ·yê·nô}, portraying complete desiccation.
