13. Formal Translation Ephraim noticed his sickness, and Judah his wound; so Ephraim went to Assyria and sent to King Jareb. Yet he could not heal you, and he could not cure your wound. |
13. Dynamic Translation When Ephraim recognized that he was sick and Judah saw his injury, Ephraim went to Assyria and sent word to King Jareb. But he was unable to make you well or to cure you of your wound. |
