The intensive double negative lōʾ-hāyāh dābār ʾăšer lōʾ-hērāʾēm {לֹֽא־הָיָ֣ה דָבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֠ר לֹֽא־הֶרְאָ֧ם | lōʾ-hāyāh dābār ʾăšer lōʾ-hērāʾēm} ‘there was not a thing that he did not show’ underscores total openness.
