| 17. Formal Translation And you shall say to them this word: "Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow." |
| 17. Dynamic Translation Say to them this word: "May tears stream from my eyes day and night without ceasing, because the virgin daughter of my people has been shattered by a terrible calamity, stricken with a severe wound." |
