| 10. Formal Translation Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to all the land! I have not lent, nor have they lent to me, yet all of them curse me. |
| 10. Dynamic Translation I am in misery, my mother, because you gave birth to me—a man who has constant conflict and arguments with everyone in the land! I have not made loans, nor have people loaned me anything, yet everyone curses me. |
