| 11. Formal Translation And you shall say to them, "Thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Warrior}: 'So will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel that cannot be repaired again, and in Topheth they will bury for lack of a place to bury.'" |

Dynamic Translation You must tell them, "This is what the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Commander of Armies} declares: 'I am going to smash this nation and this city just like a potter’s jar is smashed and cannot ever be fixed. People will have to bury the dead in Topheth because there will be nowhere left to bury them.'" |
