| 13. Formal Translation The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah — all the houses on whose roofs they burned incense to the host of the heavens, and poured out drink offerings to other gods — will be defiled like the place of Topheth. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation Homes in Jerusalem and those of Judah’s kings — all the houses on whose roofs incense was burned to the armies of the sky, and drink offerings were poured out to other gods — will become as defiled as Topheth. |
