| 11. Formal Translation For thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Pronouncer of Judgment} concerning Shallum son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned in place of his father Josiah, who went out from this place: He will not return there again. |
| 11. Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Just Judge} says about Shallum, the son of Josiah, who became king of Judah in place of his father Josiah and left this place: He will never come back here. |
