| 8. Formal Translation Rather, as long as the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Restorer} lives—He who raised up and guided the seed {zeraʿ: offspring, descendants} of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from every region to which I had driven them—they shall reside in their own land. |

Dynamic Translation They will affirm that, as long as the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Restorer} lives—He who brought back and led the people of Israel from the land of the north and from every place to which I had scattered them—they will settle {yashvu: will dwell, to live securely} in their own land again. |
