Keep belief private so it never shapes ordinary relationships

Offer kindness but avoid saying what is true

Speak truth sharply and assume grace will follow

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you came near to us, and I need you. I admit that I have sinned and tried to live apart from you. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord of my life, come into me, and make me new. Amen.

Come Near to Me

Lord, revive your Church to live as your dwelling place. Where we have become distant, make us near; where we have become harsh, fill us with grace; where we have become unclear, anchor us in truth. Let the glory of Christ be seen in us as we walk through ordinary life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church With Grace and Truth

Father, thank you that your Word did not stay far away but came near and lived among us. Thank you that in Jesus we have seen your glory, full of grace and truth. Teach me to receive that gift with wonder and gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for: someone who feels far from God; one opportunity to show Christ through a gentle and truthful response; that the people around you would glimpse his glory in your life.

Praise God for Jesus, the Word made human, who lived among us and revealed the Father. Worship him for his glory, his nearness, and the beauty of his grace and truth.
