Lord, as your Spirit came from heaven and rested on Jesus, let your Spirit rest on your Church with fresh power. Awaken us from dullness, make us attentive to your presence, and teach us to speak clearly about what we have truly seen of Christ. Fill us with holy courage, tenderness, and truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Bear Witness

Thank you, Lord, for John’s faithful witness and for a sign that points us to Jesus. Thank you that your Son is not hidden, and that heaven itself bore witness to him. Help us receive your testimony with gratitude and trust.

Thank You for Clear Testimony

Pray by naming one place where you long to know God is at work. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to his Spirit, to help you recognize what is true, and to give you a calm confidence to respond.

Ask to Notice What the Spirit Is Doing

Pray for believers, pastors, parents, and friends who speak about Jesus: that they would tell the truth humbly, point away from themselves, and let their words help others look to Christ.

For Those Who Share What They Have Seen

Father, train my heart to notice your Spirit at work and to rest in what you reveal about Jesus. Keep me from rushing past your signs, and make me quick to listen, grateful to believe, and ready to obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
