He stays close to Jesus and keeps learning in ordinary days

He waits for dramatic moments before paying attention

He grows alone without needing any companions

Come Near and Lead Me

Lord, revive your Church to stay near Jesus with patient hearts. Keep us from chasing only excitement, and make us faithful companions who learn, listen, and remain present with one another. Gather us around Christ again and wake us up to ordinary obedience. in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Steady Discipleship

Thank God for the people who have stayed near you, taught you, and helped you keep learning Jesus in ordinary days. Thank him for the gift of steady presence and patient discipleship.

Pray for: spiritual leaders who remain faithful in ordinary seasons; new believers who need steady companions; and church communities where people can learn Jesus together.

Lord, help me not to drift when life feels ordinary. Teach me to stay near Jesus, listen well, and keep learning from him with others. Give me a steady heart and faithful steps, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
