Hear him, but wait until the timing feels ideal

Appreciate his words, while keeping your life unchanged

Follow only after others prove the path is safe

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and gone my own way. I turn from my sin and ask for your mercy. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I choose to follow you. Teach me to hear your voice and obey you with my whole life. Amen.

Hear and Follow Jesus

Lord, awaken your Church to hear Jesus clearly and follow him without delay. Free us from distraction, hesitation, and half-hearted obedience. Make us attentive to your voice and bold to move when you speak, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Follow

Pray by naming one area where you need to hear Jesus more clearly, then ask for the courage to take the next step he shows you.

Pray for a Listening Ear

Bring these before God: gratitude that Jesus still speaks, thanks for the gift of hearing his words, and praise for the grace to answer him with obedience.

Grateful for Jesus' Voice

Bring before God a distracted heart, a desire to listen better, and willingness to move from hearing to following.

An Attentive Heart

Lord, open the ears of people around me to hear Jesus speaking, and give them courage to follow him when they hear. Draw the hesitant and the curious to Christ, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
