Go to him, pay attention, and stay with him long enough to learn

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needing mercy. I admit that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and ask you to lead my life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I open my heart to you. Let me know you and keep me near you. Amen.

Come and Receive Him

Lord, revive your Church with a fresh desire to come near to Jesus instead of living at a distance. Wake us from distraction, teach us to stay with him, and make us a people who invite others to discover him for themselves, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank God for an invitation that is personal, patient, and near. Thank him that seekers are welcomed to draw close, look carefully, and spend time with him.

Pray for one person who is curious but cautious about Jesus. Ask for courage to invite them well, an open heart on their side, and a real opportunity for them to explore him.

Someone to Invite

Lord, teach me to remain with you instead of rushing past you. Slow my thoughts, steady my heart, and help me value time in your presence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
