Treat the darkness as stronger and give up hope

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived in darkness. I need your light and your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Shine your life in me and lead me from darkness into your light. Amen.

Come to the Light

Lord, revive your Church where we have hidden our light or grown tired in the dark. Awaken us again with courage, holiness, and hope, so that your light shines clearly through us in a world that needs you. Make us faithful bearers of your light, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Let Your Church Shine

Father, where my life feels dark, let your light keep shining. Give me peace when I cannot see clearly, courage when fear presses in, and trust that darkness has not won, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name one area of your life that feels dark or uncertain. Ask God to let Christ's light meet you there, then ask for one faithful next step you can take today.

Thank God for light that keeps shining in dark places, for hope that is stronger than fear, and for the way he does not let darkness have the final word.

Pray for someone who feels surrounded by darkness, for courage to reach out to them, and for God's light to be seen through your words, choices, and presence.
