If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as God's Son and my Lord. Come into my life and lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Receive the Sent Son

Lord, revive your Church to honor your Son. Where we have spoken carelessly about Jesus, correct us; where fear has kept us silent, make us bold; where we have made him smaller than he is, restore awe and faithful witness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Honor the Son

Thank God for setting apart and sending his Son into the world; thank Him that Jesus' identity is not hidden from us; thank Him that Christ's words invite faith even when others resist.

Thankful for the Father's Sending

Father, when I am tempted to shrink back or speak loosely about Jesus, help me honor your Son. Give me a humble heart, careful words, and courage to stand with the truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for people who hear Jesus' claim and call it blasphemy: that God would soften their hearts, clear away confusion, and let the truth about Christ reach them.
