To the other side of the Jordan River, to the place linked with John's earlier baptizing

To Jerusalem, to continue teaching in the temple area

To Capernaum, to settle back into a familiar town

Move when God leads, then stay faithful where he places you

Keep changing direction so you never settle long enough to be known

Pass through quickly and leave before anything can take root

Stay busy with travel instead of giving attention to the place

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and wandered from you. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to lead me where I need to go and teach me to stay with you. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Come and Lead Me

Lord, revive your Church to move when you lead and to remain where you place us. Deliver us from restlessness, teach us faithful presence, and make us quick to obey and slow to drift. Renew us for your purpose in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Follow and Remain

Thank God for Jesus' willingness to go where the Father leads and to stay where his work is needed. Give thanks for places of quiet faithfulness, for ordinary ground that can become holy, and for the grace to remain instead of rushing on.

Grateful for Jesus' Steady Presence

Pray by naming one place, responsibility, or relationship where you sense God calling you to be more intentional. Ask him whether you need to move, to stay, or to wait, and ask for peace to obey without fear.

Pray About Your Next Move

Pray for people who are between decisions, moving homes, changing roles, or unsure where to be. Ask God to guide their steps, to give them patience in the waiting, and to help them settle where he is at work.

For Those in Transition

Father, give me the grace to stop chasing the next place and to honor the place where you have me now. Make me steady, attentive, and obedient, and help me remain faithful until you lead me elsewhere, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
