Stay where he is and wait for things to settle

Trust that Jesus can still bring life and act where others see an end

Assume nothing can change, so stop hoping

Leave the matter alone and avoid praying about it

Wait for a more convenient time before taking it seriously

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and believe that you died for me and rose again. Speak your life into me, and raise me from spiritual death to new life. I confess you as my Lord and Savior and receive your gift of mercy. Amen.

Lord, Wake Me to New Life

Lord, revive your Church where we have grown sleepy, fearful, or numb. Make us a people who trust your power over death, who bring hope to the grieving, and who speak life where others see only endings. Awaken us to compassion, faith, and courageous witness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church Again

Father, when grief makes something feel final, remind me that Jesus is not limited by death. Give me peace to rest in his care, comfort to grieve honestly, and hope that he can still act where I cannot, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Comfort for What Feels Final

Name one situation that feels beyond repair, and ask Jesus to breathe hope into it. Ask him for a faithful next step, and pray for eyes to see his power where you only see an ending.

Pray Over One Hopeless Place

Thank you, Lord, that Jesus speaks with authority over death and with friendship toward his own. Thank you that what looks final to us is not beyond his power, and that his heart is not distant from our pain.

Thank You for Life Beyond Death

Pray for a grieving person, a family facing loss, and anyone who has stopped hoping. Ask God to surround them with compassionate presence, to renew their trust in Jesus, and to let his life-giving power meet them in their sorrow.
