Receive the Lord of Life

Lord, revive your Church where we have become quick to assume and slow to listen. Teach us to call you Lord with real faith, to wait for your word with humility, and to trust your power to restore what seems beyond hope. Make us a compassionate and attentive people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Trust You

Father, be near to anyone who is waiting for healing and cannot yet see the outcome. Quiet fear, steady hope, and keep us from panic when all we can see looks like sleep or delay. Let your care hold us until recovery comes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace for the Waiting Heart

Pray by naming one place where Jesus feels unclear to you. Ask him for patience instead of haste, ask for a humble heart that listens, and ask for enough trust to keep following before you fully understand.

Pray When You Do Not Understand

Thank God for the hope that he can restore what looks finished. Thank him that his power is greater than our first impressions, and that he hears even our imperfect words.

Thank You for Hope of Recovery

Bring these to God: a habit of addressing Jesus with reverence; a willingness to ask before you conclude; a softer tone when another person’s situation is unclear; a heart that expects God to work even when you do not yet understand.
