Move on immediately once your own plans feel delayed

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. Thank you for meeting me where I am and for leading me into new life. I confess you as my Lord and Savior and welcome your rule over my life. Amen.

Meet Me Where I Am

Lord, revive your Church so we do not rush past the people in front of us. Teach us to stay, to listen, and to love with steady patience. Wake us up from hurry, distraction, and coldness, and make us a people who reflect the nearness of Jesus to those who are waiting. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Keep Your Church Present

Father, when I feel delayed, overlooked, or stuck, remind me that Jesus is still near. Help me trust your timing, rest where I am, and receive your peace instead of anxiety. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace While I Wait

Name one place where you feel you have not arrived yet. Ask God to help you remain faithful there, to notice Christ's nearness before you move on, and to show you the next small step to take.

Pray in the Place of Waiting

Pray for: a friend who feels stalled; someone you have been slow to answer; the grace to stay present long enough to listen, care, and not rush past their need.

For Someone Who Feels Left Behind

Thank God for staying near before every situation is resolved; for meeting people in ordinary places; and for his patient presence when we are still on the way.

Thanks for His Nearness
