Remove the restraints and help him go free.

Leave him where he is until he can prove he is changed.

Celebrate what happened, but keep the remaining ties in place.

Lord, revive your Church. Where we have only watched, make us willing to help; where we have only spoken, teach us to serve; where people remain bound, make us a people who point them toward freedom. Wake us up to your life-giving power and your tender care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Unbind the Stuck

Father, I bring before you the person who feels trapped, weighed down, or unable to move forward. Speak your freeing word, loosen what holds them back, and give them the grace to walk on in peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Freedom for Someone Still Bound

Name one person who seems stuck, ask God to show you what still binds them, and ask for the right words and actions to help them move toward freedom.

Pray for One Person Who Needs Release

Bring these to God: gratitude that Jesus gives life where there was death; thanks that he also cares about what still binds people; praise for every small step toward freedom; and worship for his power that is both strong and gentle.

Thank God for Life and Freedom

Pray for people who are alive outwardly but still tied up inside, for families and friends who want to help without shaming, and for churches that know how to support freedom with tenderness.

Pray for the Bound and the Helpers
