Receive the One Who Shows Himself

Lord, revive your Church so we do not harden our hearts when you are at work. Make us humble when your truth confronts us, eager to listen when you reveal yourself, and bold to worship instead of protecting our comfort. Gather us into fresh faith and holy courage, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Your Works

Bring these to God: gratitude that Jesus does not hide himself; thankfulness for the signs that point to him; praise that he still makes truth visible; joy that faith can rest on what he has shown.

Giving Thanks for Clear Signs

Pray by naming one question or concern that has been troubling you, ask God to help you look at it honestly, then ask him for the humility to follow the truth wherever it leads, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for an Open Mind

Father, we pray for church and civic leaders who face hard evidence and difficult choices. Keep them from fear, pride, and self-protection. Give them integrity to ask the right questions and courage to respond to what is true, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Leaders Under Pressure

Bring these to God: the desire to examine claims carefully; a willingness to admit when you are wrong; readiness to respond to Jesus with trust rather than defensiveness; patience to seek wisdom before acting.
