Exegesis

A coordinated result clause with kaí {καὶ | kaí} introduces eleúsontai hoi Rhōmaîoi {ἐλεύσονται οἱ Ῥωμαῖοι | eleúsontai hoi Rhōmaîoi} ‘the Romans will come.’

The final clause, kaí aroûsin hēmōn kaí tón tópon kaí tò éthnos {καὶ ἀροῦσιν ἡμῶν καὶ τὸν τόπον καὶ τὸ ἔθνος | kaí aroûsin hēmōn kaí tón tópon kaí tò éthnos}, uses the future aroûsin ‘they will take away’ with the genitive hēmōn ‘of us’ expressing loss, and a double accusative ‘place and nation’ joined by kai…kai to stress total removal.
