More and more people will trust Jesus, and the Romans will strip away their place and nation.

People will stop paying attention, and the Romans will leave them alone.

Jesus will lose interest in the city, and the leaders will regain peace.

Only the disciples will be affected, and Roman authority will stay the same.

Let Jesus have first place, even if it unsettles your sense of control.

Hold back from him whenever faith might make life less secure.

Keep your faith private so nothing important changes.

Wait until obedience feels safe before taking a step.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and tried to protect my own way instead of trusting you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Receive Jesus Today

Lord, revive your church where we have become afraid of losing our place, our comfort, or our influence. Free us from protecting ourselves more than we trust your Son. Give us courage to welcome Jesus, even when his work unsettles us, and make us glad when many come to believe in him, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us Beyond Fear

Father, when I feel the urge to cling to control or reputation, steady my heart. Help me trust Jesus more than I trust security, and teach me to follow him even when it costs me something, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

When I Fear Losing Control

Start by naming one place where you feel defensive or protective. Ask God to show you whether fear is shaping your response, then ask for one humble step that honors Jesus more than your own place.

Pray Through Self-Protection

Pray for people who feel threatened by Jesus or by the changes he brings. Ask God to loosen their grip on status, territory, and control, and to open their hearts to trust Jesus gladly.

For Those Guarding Their Place

Thank God for every person who is coming to believe in Jesus. Ask him to keep that faith alive, to spread it with wisdom and love, and to let many more trust Christ without fear.

Thank God for Growing Trust
