50. Formal Translation And I {Iesous, Obedient Son} know that His commandment is eternal life. Therefore, the things that I speak, just as the Father {Pater, Life-Giving Source} has spoken to Me, so I speak. |
50. Dynamic Translation I {Iesous, Faithful Messenger} know that His command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say, I say it just as the Father {Pater, Guiding Authority} has told Me. |
