If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. You are Lord, and I open my life to you. Clothe me with your life and lead me in your way. Amen.

Receive the Humble Lord

Lord, revive your Church where pride has settled in and humble service has grown rare. Teach us again to set aside what we cling to, to take up the towel of practical love, and to serve one another with glad hearts. Make us willing to do ordinary work for your sake, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew a Serving Church

Father, thank you for the humility shown in this moment, for the one who got up, put aside what was not needed, and prepared to serve. Thank you that your love is not proud or distant, but willing to take the low place. Help me remember that love looks like service, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for: those who do unnoticed work at home, at church, or at work; believers who are learning to serve without needing credit; strength to keep doing practical good when no one applauds; and hearts willing to put others first.

For People Who Serve Quietly

Father, I confess that I often cling to comfort and recognition. Forgive my self-protection, and teach me the way of humble service. Give me a willing heart, ready to set aside self and bless others in ordinary ways, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
