He shares life and presence with the Father, and the Father shares life and presence with him

He merely passes along information from God while remaining separate

The Father is only near him in a symbolic way

Their connection lasts only for this one moment

He describes a close, shared relationship with the Father

He points to his works as support if needed

He says belief should wait for later proof

Invite them to consider Jesus' own words and the works that support them

Ask them to ignore Jesus' words until they feel certain on their own

Tell them faith never needs any reasons at all

Suggest that signs matter more than Jesus himself

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have not trusted you as I should. I turn from my sin and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I trust that you are one with the Father, and I want to trust your words and your works. Be my Lord and Savior, forgive me, and lead my life. Amen.

Trust Jesus and Be Forgiven

Lord, revive your Church to trust Jesus deeply. Where we have grown skeptical, distracted, or divided, bring us back to the words of Christ and the works that reveal him. Make us steady in faith, quick to listen, and bold to live what we say we believe, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Trust in Christ

Father, grow in me a faith that can hear Jesus' words and rest in them. When I am slow to understand, help me remember his works and keep following anyway, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Grow My Faith in Jesus

Give thanks for Jesus' words that call for trust. Give thanks for the works that support his claim. Give thanks that seeking hearts are not left without evidence and that faith can be strengthened by what Christ has done.

Thank You for the Works that Reveal Him

Father, I lift up the people around me who are unsure about Jesus. Give them open minds, honest questions, and a willingness to look at his words and his works together. Let their questions lead them toward faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
