Send sympathy once, but avoid any ongoing involvement

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot save myself. I have lived as if I were on my own, and I need your mercy and your care. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask you to come into my life. Be my Lord, keep me from being abandoned, and make me yours. Amen.

Come Near and Make Me Yours

Lord, revive your Church where we have grown distant and distracted. Teach us not to leave the lonely unsupported, but to come near with the steady care of Jesus. Renew our compassion, our courage, and our willingness to stay present with those who hurt, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Faithful Presence

Father, for anyone who feels abandoned, unseen, or forgotten, let the promise of Jesus be real today. Bring your peace close, strengthen the heart, and remind them that they are not without care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Who Feel Left Alone

Begin by naming one place where you feel alone. Ask Jesus to meet you there, then ask him to show you one person or one step of care you can lean on today.

Pray for One Needing Presence

Bring these to God: fear of being left behind; trust that Jesus comes near; willingness to rest in his care instead of trying to carry everything alone.

Growing in Trusting His Presence

Pray for: one person who may feel isolated; courage to reach out with practical care; a steady, faithful presence that reflects Jesus' own coming near.
