Begin from Jesus' nearness when you pray, decide, and obey

Wait until you feel spiritually strong before you act

Treat faith as mainly self-improvement with Jesus as backup

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I ask you to bring me into your life and to live in me. Forgive me, make me yours, and lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Come Into My Life

Lord, awaken your Church to live in the truth that we are in you and you are in us. Renew our trust, deepen our unity, and make our shared life with you visible to a world that longs to know you. Let your people walk in the strength of your presence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give thanks for the gift that Jesus is not distant: he brings us into life with the Father and remains with us.

Pray for someone who feels spiritually distant: ask God to steady their heart, to help them know they are not abandoned, and to draw them into trust in Christ.

For the One Who Feels Far Away

Bring these to God: your habit of self-reliance, your fear of being alone, and your desire to remember through the day that Christ is in you and you are in him.
