Receive Jesus and His Words

Lord, awaken your Church to love Jesus deeply enough to keep his words. Where we have been content to hear and not do, bring repentance and fresh zeal. Make us a people who honor the Father by trusting the Son's teaching, and send us back into the world with obedient hearts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Love and Obey

Father, thank you that Jesus' teaching is not uncertain or empty. Thank you that your word comes to us through the Son who was sent by you. Give us grateful hearts that listen closely and treasure what you say.

Thank You for Speaking Clearly

Pray by choosing one saying of Jesus you have been neglecting. Ask the Father to show you one practical step of obedience, name the place where you will practice it, and ask for a willing heart.

Pray Through One Teaching

Bring these to God: any place where you say you love Jesus but resist his words; any habit of delay; any excuse that keeps his teaching at a distance. Ask him to reshape your love into faithful action.

Where Love Has Not Become Obedience

Pray for people who hear Jesus' words yet have not received them as the Father's voice. Ask God to soften hearts, remove confusion, and draw them into trust and obedience.
