If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust you alone. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord, and I ask you to lead my life and teach me your way. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Come to Jesus for Help

Lord, revive your people so we listen closely to your Spirit, hold fast to Jesus' words, and live by what you have already spoken. Rescue us from distraction, forgetfulness, and pride, and make your Church teachable again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church to Listen

Pray by naming one place where you feel confused or forgetful, ask the Father to send the Spirit's help into that place, then ask him to bring one word of Jesus clearly back to mind and show you the next step to take.

Ask for Help to Remember

Bring these to God: gratitude that he has not left you to understand alone; thanks for the Spirit's help when memory fails; praise that Jesus' words can come back to you at the right time.

Thank You for Spirit-Given Help

Father, make me teachable by your Spirit. Help me listen well, remember what Jesus has said, and obey it when I am uncertain. Keep my heart close to your truth and my mind ready to learn, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Me Teachable

Pray for students, new believers, parents, teachers, and leaders: that the Spirit would teach them faithfully, bring Jesus' words to mind in the right moment, and strengthen them to pass on what is true.
