Return to his peace and refuse to let fear run the moment

Assume peace depends on controlling every outcome

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I need the peace only you can give. I admit that I have sinned, tried to carry my life on my own, and let fear rule me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Give me your peace and make my heart steady in you. Amen.

Receive the Peace-Giver

Lord, revive your Church with the peace Jesus gives. Where we have been unsettled, fearful, and quick to react, settle us in your presence. Make us a people who carry calm courage into troubled places, and let our lives show a peace the world cannot manufacture, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Peace

Father, when my heart is troubled or afraid, let the peace of Jesus steady me. Quiet the noise within me, and teach me to rest in your care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name one worry aloud, ask Jesus to give you his peace instead of the fear it stirs, and then ask for one next faithful step you can take today.

Thank God for the peace Jesus gives, for the steadiness he brings to the inner person, and for his gift being different from the fragile calm of the world.
