A life where nothing difficult ever happens

Their inner self should not become unsettled

Return to his peace and refuse to let fear run the moment

Wait until every problem is solved before trusting him

Hide the anxiety and act like nothing is wrong

Assume peace depends on controlling every outcome

Lord, revive your Church with the peace Jesus gives. Where we have been unsettled, fearful, and quick to react, settle us in your presence. Make us a people who carry calm courage into troubled places, and let our lives show a peace the world cannot manufacture, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, when my heart is troubled or afraid, let the peace of Jesus steady me. Quiet the noise within me, and teach me to rest in your care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
