So the world will recognize his love for the Father

So the disciples will better understand his teaching

So the Father will change the command later

Do what God asks, even if it means changing your plans

Say yes in principle, but wait until it fits your schedule

Keep your devotion private and avoid any outward change

Explain your reasons first, then decide whether to obey

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned, loved my own way, and failed to love the Father as I should. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Come into my life as my Lord and Savior, teach me to follow you, and make my life show the Father's love. Amen.

Receive the Obedient Savior

Lord, revive your church so that we do not only speak about love but live it. Wake us from delay, fear, and half-hearted obedience. Make us a people whose actions show the world that we love the Father and are ready to go when you lead, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Obey

Father, thank You for Jesus' perfect obedience and for the love for You that shaped every step he took. Thank You that his life shows us what true devotion looks like. Help me receive that gift with gratitude and follow his example, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Faithful Obedience

Pray by naming one clear thing God has already shown you. Ask for courage to do it today, ask what comfort you may need to release, and ask the Lord to make your obedience a sign of love.

Bring these to God: reluctance to obey; fear of changing plans; desire for a heart that loves the Father enough to act; willingness to let Jesus' example shape your own.

Grow a Heart That Loves to Obey

Pray for: someone who needs to see faith expressed in real obedience; believers tempted to delay; a church known for quick, humble follow-through.
