Pretend you already understand so no one notices

Wait until you have perfect clarity before speaking to him

Rely only on your own instincts and ignore the question

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I cannot find the way on my own. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and invite you to lead my life. Be my Savior, my guide, and the true way I can trust. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord and Guide

Lord, revive your Church where we have grown unsure and self-reliant. Teach us to bring our confusion to you, to listen before we run ahead, and to follow your leading together. Make us a people who trust you with the path we cannot yet see, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your People to Follow You

Father, when I cannot see the road ahead, keep me from panic and from pretending. Give me the humility to ask Jesus for direction, and show me the next faithful step, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lead Me When I Do Not Know

Pray by naming one thing you do not understand, telling Jesus honestly how that uncertainty feels, and asking him for the way forward instead of trying to force clarity.

Praying in the Middle of Uncertainty

Lord Jesus, when I do not know where you are going, teach me not to harden my heart. Grow in me a trust that asks, waits, and follows, even before I understand the whole path, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Me to Trust Your Leading

Bring these before God: a friend or family member facing a confusing decision; someone who feels lost and needs clear guidance; courage for you to listen well and point them toward Jesus rather than your own certainty.
