Hide your loyalty to Jesus so no one notices

Respond to rejection by treating others with contempt

Decide that acceptance matters more than obedience

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and lived for this world more than for you. I turn from my sin and from chasing approval, and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to make me yours and lead me in your way. Father, revive your Church where we have blended in and softened our witness to win approval. Make us faithful, loving, and unashamedly yours. Let the world see in us a people chosen by Christ and not ruled by the fear of rejection, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Distinct

Father, when I feel the pain of not fitting in, remind me that I belong to Jesus. Calm my fear of rejection, steady my heart, and help me remember that your choosing is better than the world's approval, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace When I Feel Out of Place

Name one place where you feel pressure to blend in. Ask God for courage to stay faithful to Jesus there, and ask him to show you one clear action that honors him today.

Pray Through the Pressure to Fit In

Bring these topics to God: thanks that Jesus has chosen you; gratitude for freedom from living for people-pleasing; praise for an identity that rests in Christ; thankfulness for courage to belong to him when the world resists.
