A fruit-bearing branch is pruned so it can grow more

Every branch receives the same treatment regardless of fruit

Welcome God's trimming, let go of what is fruitless, and keep growing toward more fruit

Avoid every painful change and assume maturity should come without correction

Focus on looking productive, even if nothing lasting is changing

Treat pruning as a sign to stop serving until life feels easier

Lord, revive your Church where we have become busy but unfruitful. Cut away what distracts us, cleanse what is healthy, and teach us to abide in you so our lives bear more fruit for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
