He is sent because the Father has finished with the Son

He will bring a different message from Jesus

Speak in a way that clearly points to Jesus, not yourself

Keep your faith mostly private unless asked directly

Use spiritual language mainly to seem mature

Talk about Jesus only after you have no doubts left

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from living for myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead my life in your truth. Come into my heart and make me yours. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church with fresh love for truth and a clear witness to Jesus. Keep us from speaking about ourselves, and make us people who point to the Son you sent from the Father. Awaken courage, honesty, and joy in us again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Witness

Father, when I feel unsure or alone, send your help near to me. Let your Spirit of truth steady my heart and remind me that Jesus is worthy of my trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help for the Uncertain Heart

Begin by naming one place where you need help or clarity. Ask the Father to send his help, ask the Spirit of truth to make Jesus clearer to you, and then listen quietly for one step to take today.

Pray for Clear Sight of Jesus

Pray for: one person who needs to hear about Jesus; a gentle and truthful way to speak; and the courage to point beyond yourself to Christ.

A Clear Witness for Others

Thank God that he sends help and truth from the Father. Ask him to grow in you a steady love for Jesus, honest speech, and a life that bears faithful witness to him.
