If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I have often been proud, confused, and slow to listen to your word. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord. Please forgive me, make me new, and lead me into your truth. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Lead Me Into Your Truth

Lord, revive your Church where we have grown careless with your words. Make us slow to assume, honest when we do not understand, and eager to keep asking until your truth takes root. Wake us from pretending we already know, and give us humble hearts that keep listening, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew a Listening Church

Name one saying of Jesus that still feels unclear. Ask God to show you what he means, sit quietly with the passage, and write down one honest question before you move on.

Pray for Clarity on One Saying of Jesus

Bring these to God: confusion you are carrying, pride that wants to seem certain, patience to keep asking, and humility to learn slowly.

Bring Your Questions Honestly

Lord, I lift up people who hear your word and feel lost by it. Give them patient minds, open hearts, and people who can help them listen well. Keep them from giving up when understanding is slow, and lead them into your truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lift Up Someone Who Feels Confused

Give thanks for Jesus' patience with confused hearers; thank him that he keeps speaking even when understanding is slow; thank him for moments when clarity grows over time.

Thank God for Patient Teaching
