Keep Jesus' words as advice but make the final call yourself

Focus on asking more than on following what you already know

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you know all things, and I come to you honestly. I confess that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. Since you come from God, I trust you with my whole life. Amen.

Come to the One Who Knows Me

Lord, revive your Church with fresh awe and trust in Jesus. Where we have acted as if he were only one voice among many, restore our faith that he knows all things and comes from you. Make us bold, humble, and quick to obey him, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Confidence in Christ

Bring these thanks to God: Jesus' complete knowledge; his patience with our questions; the relief of being seen and understood by him; confidence that his wisdom is trustworthy.

Thankful for Christ's Full Wisdom

Pray by naming one question you cannot answer, asking Jesus for wisdom, and surrendering the timing of his reply because he already knows what you do not.

Praying When You Have Questions

Bring to God your tendency to demand proof before trust, your desire to believe more deeply that Jesus is from God, and your willingness to let his knowledge shape your choices.

Growing in Trust

Lord, meet the people who are still testing Jesus from a distance. Show them his wisdom, soften suspicion into faith, and draw them to trust that he has come from you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
