Lord, revive your Church to guard what you have entrusted to us. Where we have been careless, distracted, or numb, wake us up again. Make us faithful in prayer, steady in compassion, and alert to what can be lost, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank you that Jesus did not abandon those entrusted to him, but watched over them and kept them safe. Thank you that your purposes do not fail and that your care is not careless. Teach me to trust your keeping and to give thanks for every act of protection, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for someone who feels overlooked, fragile, or close to giving up. Ask God to surround them with his care, to keep them from ruin, and to draw them back into safety and hope.
