Wait for a special feeling before seeking any deeper relationship

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live apart from you. I need the life that only you can give. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as Lord. Bring me into true life with the Father. Amen.

Come Into True Life

Lord, renew your Church so we do not settle for religion without knowing you. Awaken us to seek the Father and Jesus Christ with whole hearts, to treasure the life you give, and to bear witness to your truth in a searching world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Us to Know You

Thank you, Father, that life is not empty endurance but living relationship with you and with Jesus Christ. Thank you for making yourself known and for sending your Son. Help me value this gift more than success, comfort, or length of days.

Thank You for Life in Knowing You

Begin by naming one way you want to know God more truly this week. Then ask for a fresh sense of Jesus Christ, the one sent by the Father, and for one obedient step that helps that relationship grow.

Pray for a Deeper Knowledge of God and Jesus

Father, guide me away from shallow religion and toward a real knowledge of you. Show me the next step that helps me know Jesus Christ more clearly, and give me courage to take it, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lead Me Out of Shallow Religion

Pray for people who know about God but have not yet come to know him personally. Ask the Lord to awaken hunger, clear away confusion, and draw them to Jesus Christ, the one sent by the Father, so they may enter true life.
