I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. Thank you for coming from the Father and speaking truth to me. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Receive the One Sent by the Father

Father, revive your Church to welcome the words of Jesus with faith. Where we have grown careless, make us attentive; where we have doubted, give us confidence that your Son came from you and was sent by you; where we have kept your words to ourselves, make us faithful to pass them on. Renew our love for your truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Your Word

Thank you for giving us a Savior who faithfully carried your words to us. Thank you that your message can be received, known, and trusted. Grow gratitude in us as we hear and obey.

Gratitude for a Faithful Message

Pray by naming one word of Jesus that you need to receive again. Ask God to help you trust that Jesus truly comes from him, and ask for one practical step you can take today in response.

Pray to Receive One Word Anew

Pray for someone you know who has heard about Jesus but has not yet trusted him. Ask God to open their heart to receive his words and to recognize that the Father sent him.

For Those Still Deciding About Jesus

Lord, give me a heart that receives the words of Jesus instead of setting them aside. Help me believe that he truly comes from you and that your Son is worthy of my trust and obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
