He is willing to drink what the Father has given him

He treats it as something the Father should not have given

Put aside the forceful reaction and receive what the Father is permitting

Escalate quickly so you can protect yourself

Wait until obedience feels easy before doing anything

Ignore the situation and hope it disappears

Lord, revive your Church so we put away the weapons of control, pride, and retaliation. Teach us to trust the Father with hard assignments, to obey when it costs us, and to follow Jesus in humble surrender. Father, strengthen anyone who is facing a hard cup today. Give them courage to obey, peace to release fear, and grace to trust that your will is good, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
