If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask for your mercy. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to make me yours, teach me your truth, and lead my life. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church. Wake us up from shallow faith, and make us a people who love Jesus' teaching, welcome honest questions, and care about the people you are forming. Give us courage to live with integrity, to speak plainly, and to follow you with whole hearts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church in Truth

Pray by naming one question you have about Jesus or his teaching, asking God to help you understand it, and asking for courage to respond with honesty rather than fear.

Pray for Clear Understanding

Bring these thanks to God: that Jesus' teaching is not hidden from us; that faithful people can learn and grow; that God gives truth that can be examined rather than feared.

Thanks for Clear Truth

Lord, when questions are asked about faith, give your people calm honesty and integrity. Help us not to hide, not to boast, and not to twist the truth. Let our words and lives match the teaching of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
