Say you know Jesus only when it is convenient

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my need for you. I have tried to hide and live for myself, and I turn from that now. Come Into My Life, Lord Jesus

Lord, revive your church so that when we are asked about Jesus, we answer with courage, truth, and gentleness. Heal our fear of being known, break the habit of hiding, and make us faithful witnesses even under pressure. Awaken us to stand with Christ openly and lovingly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Unafraid

Father, when I feel pressure because others notice my connection to Jesus, steady my heart. Give me calm courage, a clear mind, and a gentle voice, so I do not shrink back in fear. Help me trust you with the outcome and honor Jesus with my words, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Courage When I Am Seen

God, thank you that I can belong to Jesus and that I do not have to hide forever. Thank you for the grace to speak truthfully, for the peace you give under scrutiny, and for the hope that my life can be shaped by him. I praise you for your kindness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Letting Me Belong

Start by naming the conversation where you feel pressure. Ask God for one calm and truthful sentence that honors Jesus, then ask for peace before you speak and wisdom after you speak.

Pray for: a friend who is afraid to be associated with Jesus; grace to answer hard questions honestly; healing for old hurts that still shape conversations; courage to stand with Christ in public and private.
