Lord, revive your Church where we have chased status, feared people, or used influence for ourselves. Make us a people who follow Jesus before every earthly authority, speak truth without pride, and serve with courage and restraint, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring these to God: gratitude that no human ruler has the final word; trust when you feel pressured by stronger voices; praise that Jesus remains Lord even when others boast. Thank him for a kingdom that cannot be overturned.

Lord, when I feel small before someone who seems powerful, steady my heart. Remind me that you see me, you are not absent, and no earthly threat is greater than your care for me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
