| 23. Formal Translation Therefore the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus {Iesous, Suffering Messiah}, took His garments and made four parts, a part for each soldier, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was seamless, woven from the top throughout. |
| 23. Dynamic Translation So when the soldiers had crucified Jesus {Iesous, Condemned Redeemer}, they took His clothes and divided them into four shares, one for each soldier, including the tunic. But the tunic was made in one piece from top to bottom. |
