If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you were crucified for me, and I need your mercy. I admit my sin and my need for a Savior. I turn from my sin and from ruling my own life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to make me new. Amen.

Come to the Crucified Lord

Lord, awaken your church to the cost of the cross. Keep us from shallow faith, from greed, and from treating others as means to our own gain. Make us humble before the crucified Christ, gentle with the hurting, and faithful in what is entrusted to us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Reverence for the Cross

Thank God for Jesus' willingness to bear shame, loss, and crucifixion. Thank him that the cross was not ignored by heaven and that his suffering was not wasted. Thank him for the mercy and hope that flow from that sacrifice.

Thank God for Jesus' Sacrifice

Father, forgive me for the times I have taken advantage of others, profited from another person's pain, or valued things more than people. I confess my selfishness and my careless heart. Teach me to turn from sin and to handle what belongs to others with honesty and reverence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive Our Grasping Hearts

Pray by naming one area where you make decisions about money, time, possessions, or power. Ask God to show you where you need more fairness and tenderness, then ask for one concrete step you can take to protect another person's dignity.

Pray for Fair and Careful Hands

Pray for people who are mocked, exploited, or treated as disposable. Pray for those who witness such harm and feel powerless. Pray that God would bring justice, protection, and compassionate help where others are being harmed.
