The relative adverb hopou {ὅπου | hó-pou} introduces the location clause, while the causal phrase dia ton phobon tōn Ioudaiōn {διὰ τὸν φόβον τῶν Ἰουδαίων | di-á ton phó-bon τῶν I-ou-daí-ōn} explains why the disciples remained inside.
